SafeVibe (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the SafeVibe mobile application (the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. Information Collection and Use

We believe in absolute privacy. We do not collect any personal identifier details like real names, email addresses, phone numbers, or social media profiles. The details we process are strictly minimal:

• Custom Username: You can set any custom username. It is not linked to your real identity.
• Device Identifier: We collect your Android ID (unique device identifier) solely for account creation, device mapping, account security, and identifying your active chats/session.
• Matching Preferences: We process preferences (such as age range, gender, and preferred gender) to perform matchmaking.
• Chat Messages: Messages sent within the app are strictly relayed in real-time to your chat partners. We do not store, log, or backup your message contents or chat history on our servers once they have been delivered.
• Security and Telemetry: We collect device integrity telemetry via the Google Play Integrity API to detect fraud, prevent abuse, block spam bots, and verify device security.

2. Sensor and Device Permissions

To provide video calling, voice communication, and background operations, the Service requires access to specific device features. We only access these features with your explicit permission:

• Camera Access: Used to facilitate live video calls. Video streams may be processed locally on your device (e.g., face blurring) to safeguard privacy. We do not record or store your video feeds on our servers.
• Microphone Access: Used to transmit voice audio during calls. We do not record or store your audio calls.
• System Overlay (Draw Over Other Apps): Used to display active call overlays or chat widgets while you use other apps or when the app is in the background.

3. Use of Data

SafeVibe uses the minimal collected data for the following purposes:

• To match users according to their selected preferences.
• To provide, maintain, and deliver the Service.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical or abuse issues (such as blocking or banning devices associated with malicious behavior).

4. Data Deletion and Account Reset

We respect your control over your data. You can request to delete your account or reset all matching preferences directly within the application settings menu at any time. This action permanently deletes your custom username, matching preferences, and active chat history. Please note that your unique device identifier (Android ID) may be retained securely in our database solely for security, fraud prevention, and anti-abuse purposes (such as enforcing active device bans or blocks) and is never used for tracking or marketing.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not sell or trade your data. We use trusted third-party services for essential operations:

• Google Play Services: Used for licensing, push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging, and device safety checks via the Play Integrity API.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

7. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your device identifiers and matching preferences, we cannot guarantee their absolute security.

8. Disclosure of Data (Legal Requirements)

SafeVibe may disclose your information in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

• Comply with a legal obligation or request by public authorities.
• Protect and defend the rights or property of SafeVibe.
• Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service.
• Protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public.
• Protect against legal liability.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. SafeVibe does not assume responsibility and shall not be liable for:

• User-generated content, chat messages, or media files shared by users of the Service.
• Any interactions, conduct, behavior, or meetings (whether online or offline) between users of the Service.
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or the inability to use the Service.
